“MTFA” is a registered assumed name of Middle Tennessee Football Association, filed 25 August 2026 under the same control number. The registration runs five years from filing.
Both names refer to one legal entity. There is no separate MTFA corporation.
EIN assigned by the Internal Revenue Service, 25 August 2026 (Notice CP 575E).
EIN: 42-4711760
An EIN is an account number, not a tax status. It does not by itself make the association exempt or a gift deductible.
Submitted to the Internal Revenue Service; awaiting the determination letter.
Until the letter issues, contributions are not deductible. If the IRS grants recognition, it is retroactive to the association's formation date. Verification will be available through the IRS Tax Exempt Organization Search once the determination is on file.
Filed with the Tennessee Division of Charitable Solicitations, Fantasy Sports and Gaming before any solicitation, and renewed annually.
The association's own rules say that missing a filing is how a league quietly stops existing. These are the dates that matter, published so anyone can hold us to them.
Due annually to the Secretary of State. Failure to file, or failure to maintain a registered office and agent, subjects the association to administrative dissolution.
The “MTFA” registration expires five years from its 25 August 2026 filing and must be renewed to keep the short name in use.
Required from the year the association legally formed, whether or not exemption has been recognised. Fiscal year ends 31 December. Three consecutive missed filings revoke exemption automatically.
