About this policy

The Middle Tennessee Football Association (“MTFA,” “we,” “us”) is a Tennessee nonprofit corporation that operates a youth tackle football and cheer league. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.

It applies to our website (mtfafootball.org), our Facebook and Instagram pages, our ads, and any form you submit to us online, including Facebook and Instagram lead forms. By using these, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, fill out a form, or respond to an ad, we may collect:

  • Your name, email address, and phone number
  • Your role and the community, program, or organization you represent
  • Your city or county
  • Anything else you choose to include in a message or form

Information collected automatically. Our website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits and page views without cookies and without identifying individual visitors. Facebook, Instagram, and Google may also give us summary reports about how people interact with our pages and ads.

How we use information

We use the information we collect only to run the league. That includes:

  • Answering your questions and following up on your interest in MTFA
  • Recruiting and onboarding founding community programs
  • Sending league updates, schedules, and announcements you’ve asked for
  • Understanding which pages and ads are working so we can improve them

We do not sell your information. We do not rent or trade it to anyone for their own marketing.

Social media and advertising

We advertise on Facebook, Instagram, and Google. These platforms collect information under their own privacy policies, not ours. When you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares the information you entered with us.

You can review or change how these companies use your data here:

Children’s information

Our league serves children, but our website, social media pages, and ads are meant for adults: parents, guardians, coaches, and program leaders. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Any information about players that is needed to participate in the league is provided by a parent or guardian.

Sharing, retention, and security

We share information only when we need to:

  • With MTFA board members and volunteers who need it to do league work
  • With service providers that help us operate, such as our website host, email provider, and league technology provider, who may use it only to provide services to us
  • When required by law or to protect the safety of participants

We keep information only as long as we need it for league purposes or as the law requires. We use reasonable safeguards to protect it, but no method of online transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your choices and how to reach us

You can ask us at any time to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you, or to stop sending you messages. Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.

We may update this policy as the league grows. When we do, we’ll post the new version here and change the effective date at the top.
